28/11/06 - The following
Officers were elected for the 2007 season:

Committee: Maxine Gold, Matthew Hassed, Cory

Meijs, Jonathan Peterson.
After the election of officers the
following points were raised:
-
Members of the sponsorship sub-committee
announced that they had secured a three year deal with
McLellan Motors. If any
club members are looking to buy a car then see Grant first, if he doesn't
have what you are looking for on the yard, then he will get it in for you!

It was confirmed that the club would go ahead
with the registration of the
www.queensparkafc.co.nz domain name & the website would be upgraded.

The first and second team coaches were
re-appointed, and the position of first team manager became vacant with John
Meijs stepping down.

Maxine Gold was appointed Social
Committee convenor.

Matthew Hassed was appointed Jubilee
Committee convenor. I was agreed that a Jubilee function would be
organised for Queens Birthday weekend, beginning 30th May 2008.

The Sponsorship Committee is to continue
on for 2007.
-
Robin Criglington was presented with an
award for 30 years continuous service to the club.
16/09/06 - The following Trophies were
presented at the 2006 prizegiving:

First Team Player of the Year - Ryan Boyle
First Team Most Improved Player - Mark Pearson

Second Team Most Improved Player - Nick Rive
Second Team Golden Boot - Jason Gold
02/09/06 - Queens Park wins the
Premier League Trophy.
06/08/06 - Queens Park wins the Donald
Gray Memorial Cup.
05/06/2006 - Queens Park beat Old Boys
5 - 3 to win the Charity Cup.
27/05/2006 - Queens Park claim the
Division Two cup with a 3 - 0 win over Old Boys.
20/05/2006 - Queens Park is knocked
out of the Chatham Cup after a dubious 95th minute penalty was awarded, giving
Roslyn-Waikari a 2 - 1 win.
25/03/2006 - Queens Park win the
Preseason Tournament defeating Waihopai 6 - 2.
24/01/2006 - The following positions
were filled at Tuesday night's Committee Meeting:
Senior Coach: John Hunter
Senior Manager: John Meijs
Reserves Coach: Craig Smith
Reserves Manager: Jonathan Peterson
It was also agreed that Training would begin
Wednesday 1st February, 6:30pm at Turnbull Thompson Park.
